Gameplay Express (GPX) reserves the right to drive through, park on, and set up in approved locations only.
The required parking area should be approximately 10ft wide, 55ft long, and 12ft high.
Pavement parking only unless approved.
The parking surface must be solid, flat, and not on a slope.
Parking in a driveway is not guaranteed.
Traveling through gravel, grass, dirt, etc is not an option unless approved.
Location may require a site assessment before booking, and a fee for time and travel may apply.
Notify individuals or neighbors who could be affected by our parking requirements.
Interference that delays routine parking, setting up, and start time may factor against the scheduled run time.

GamePlay Express, Game Truck Charleston features many large TV screens and gaming systems designed for participants to play video games together, next to each other in groups up to 4 or more players at each game station. The available space is determined by the overall size of the group of players. The interior area of the game truck can accommodate up to 18 guests from ages 6 to 10 years of age, up to about 14 for tweens and teens, and up to 10 for adults. The exterior area can accommodate up to about 8 players but is weather sensitive and may not be available.

Game trucks are also known as video game party trucks, game buses and mobile video game theaters.  They’re typically enclosed tow behind cargo trailers that are customized and equipped with a power generator, air conditioners, seating, televisions, gaming consoles, video games and controllers.

Parents can relax and enjoy the party or play games. The operator will handle all the gaming activities.

Fun is our top priority but appropriate game content is just as important. Our library of games can be customized by ratings.  If you have any questions about game ratings. please visit the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) at www.esrb.org.

We have hundreds of video games that are designed to be played offline in groups of 2-4 or even up to 16 players. Games that require an internet connection are available but internet service is provided by the customer and is not guaranteed playable.

We do feature our own Local Area Network (LAN) party for up to 16 participants to play together in the same game across multiple screens.

CANCELING
Cancellations will only be accepted by the original purchaser and authorized person(s).
Canceling within (2) days of payment of deposit is 100% refundable.
$125 cancellation fee with more than (30) calendar days to the scheduled date.
$195 cancellation fee with less than (30) calendar days to the scheduled date.

RESCHEDULING
Subject to availability.
Rescheduling will only be accepted by the original purchaser and authorized person(s).
$125 rescheduling fee may apply with less than (21) calendar days to the scheduled date.
Total amount paid expires (10) months from original purchase date.

The average age of guests at video game parties is 9 years old. Parties are appropriate for kids turning 6 years old and up.  Kids younger than 6 years old maybe more interested in bounce houses.

Gameplay Express features a variety of many brand name game consoles and over hundreds of multiplayer games. Contact us for more specific information and special requests.

The interior of the Gameplay Express is climate controlled, so we can accommodate in mild weather conditions. The exterior features will be closed during weather conditions such as precipitation, wind, high heat index or humidity. We are usually able to operate any time of the year; however, if we are not able to provide our services before or during the event due to unexpected and severe, weather conditions and storm warnings [flooding, heavy rain, thunder, lighting storm, tornado, hurricane, tropical storm, high winds, icy road conditions, etc.] we may (and reserve the right to) delay or reschedule your service to preserve the safety of our staff, equipment and especially you and your guests.

Gameplay Express is managed by us to make sure everyone gets to play and for selecting different games. Minimal supervision is only required depending on the number of, average age and behavior of guests.

No, food and/or beverages are not allowed inside.

However, it’s OK to set up a table with food and/or beverages at least 10’ away from the game truck.

No, not at this time but we’re currently building relationships with local businesses to provide additional perks for our customers.

We do not offer online gaming at this time.
Online video games are one-player only, per screen, with random children, teens, and adults not invited to the party, and their behaviors will vary. Guests will be spectating and awaiting a turn for an undetermined amount of time. Our goal is for everyone to be playing at the same time, and making good use of game truck time.

Online games are also subject to the quality of the location’s WiFi equipment, signal strength over a long distance, and ISP (Internet Service Providers) bandwidth package. If any of these factors are not optimal, it causes latency (lag) in games which is an undesirable playing experience. Our goal is to help create memorable moments free from external factors.

We do not offer VR gaming at this time.
In a social setting, VR is an individual, solo experience while others watch. It also requires enough space for unpredictable movements and guest safety. VR can cause some beginners to experience prolonged nausea even after discontinuing use. VR manufacturers disclaimer’s also state that it’s not recommended for children under the age of 12. Our goal is to provide an exciting shared experience that doesn’t include motion sickness.
